To provide a catheter including a balloon, a diameter of the whole of which can be reduced in the case that the balloon has expanded and then contracted.SOLUTION: A catheter 10 includes: a long shaft part 11； a balloon 12 disposed on the distal side of the shaft part 11； a tube body 30 capable of covering the balloon 12； and an operation body 40 that is pulled to make the tube body 30 extend or move so as to cover the balloon from the distal side to the proximal side. The tube body 30 is disposed on the distal side of the balloon 12 in a state of being wound in a roll shape around the shaft part 11.
