PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exercise assisting device which can be easily attached/detached, which hardly causes a feeling of discomfort, which does not cause a major problem in appearance, and which can support a wide range of exercises including sitting and walking.SOLUTION: A power-assisted suit is fixed only to a users foot parts and waist part when fixed to his/her body, arranged inside both his/her legs, and configured to connect his/her foot parts and waist part together via a rod containing a direct-acting drive part. Thus, the power-assisted suit is not affected by the width-direction size of the body. The rod, which is a simple harness configured to transfer only a unidirectional upward force to his/her pelvis, is connected to his/her waist part.
