PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pickup device including a cover for visualizing an object, and for cutting infrared rays of light, in which the visibility of the object can be prevented from being blocked, and infrared rays of light can be emitted from the portion faced to the incident part to which the image of the object is made incident of the image pickup device main body of the cover to the object.SOLUTION: An image pickup device 30 includes: an incident part 23 and a cover 35 for covering an object 19 disposed at a predetermined position. The cover 35 includes: side wall parts 37 disposed at the right and left of the incident part and a ceiling part 39 supported by the right and left side wall parts 37. The ceiling part 39 includes a transparent plate 21 for making an object 19 in the cover 35 visible. Infrared reflection films 14 and 14a are disposed on the external surface and the internal surface of the transparent plate 21.
