PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a yarn holder that can hold yarn easily.SOLUTION: A yarn holder has a pair of elastic boards 13a,13b having cushioning properties and a pair of pressing members 30a, 30b with the rigidity higher than that of the elastic boards 13a, 13b. The elastic boards 13a, 13b are sandwiched between pressing members 30a, 30b. At least one side of the pressing members 30a, 30b has an area smaller than the elastic boards 13a, 13b, and at least one side of the elastic boards 13a, 13b is recessively changed by the pressing force of the pressing members 30a, 30b.
