To provide novel analgesics and/or analgesic adjuvants.SOLUTION: The analgesic of the present invention comprises an interleukin-31 agonist (IL-31 agonist) as an effective ingredient. The present invention also provides a pharmaceutical composition comprising an IL-31 agonist and another analgesic agent and/or an analgesic adjuvant. The other analgesic agent is preferably an opioid analgesic or a non-steroid painkiller. A preferable example of IL-31 agonist is IL-31.EFFECT: The analgesic of the present invention can improve the deterioration of QOL due to the pain in cancer patients.
