The present invention provides a bio-electrode composition including a silicone bonded to a sulfonamide salt, wherein the sulfonamide salt is shown by the following general formula (1) :wherein R1represents a linear, branched, or cyclic alkylene group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms optionally having an aromatic group, an ether group, or an ester group, or an arylene group having 6 to 10 carbon atoms; Rf represents a linear, branched, or cyclic alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms and containing at least one fluorine atom; M+is an ion selected from a lithium ion, a sodium ion, a potassium ion, and a silver ion. This can form a living body contact layer for a bio-electrode that is excellent in electric conductivity and biocompatibility, light-weight, manufacturable at low cost, and free from large lowering of the electric conductivity even though it is wetted with water or dried.本發明之課題係提供一種生物體電極組成物,可形成導電性及生物相容性(biocompatibility)優良、輕量,且能以低成本製造,無論被水潤濕抑或乾燥,導電性也不會大幅降低之生物體電極用之生物體接觸層。該課題之解決方法係一種生物體電極組成物,係含有鍵結於磺醯胺鹽之聚矽氧之生物體電極組成物,其特徵為:該磺醯胺鹽係以下述通式(1)表示者。式中,R1為碳數1~20之直鏈狀、分支狀、環狀之伸烷基且也可具有芳香族基、醚基、酯基,或為碳數6~10之伸芳基;Rf為碳數1~4之直鏈狀、分支狀、環狀之烷基且至少具有1個以上之氟原子;M+為選自於鋰、鈉、鉀、銀中之離子。
