The present invention relates to a crystalline form of tapentadol hydrobromide of formula (i), chemically 3-[(1R,2R)-3-(dimethylamino)-l-ethyl-2-methylpropyl]phenol hydrobromide, which manifests the following characteristic reflection in an X-ray powder record using CuKa radiation: 14.6 15.5 17.9 21.1 21.8 ± 0.2° 2-theta, and a method of its preparation.La présente invention porte sur une forme cristalline du bromhydrate de tapentadol de formule (I), chimiquement le bromhydrate de 3-[(1R,2R)-3-(diméthylamino)-1-éthyl-2-méthylpropyl]phénol, qui présente la réflexion caractéristique suivante, dans un enregistrement de diffraction des rayons X sur poudre utilisant la raie CuKα : des angles 2-thêta de 14,6 15,5 17,9 21,1 21,8 ± 0,2°, et sur un procédé pour sa préparation.
