A preferred embodiment of the invention provides processes for making solid form bird deterrent compositions comprising a deterrent, which processes comprise combining a carbohydrate source, deterrent and one or more garlic substances, and a filler, to form a mixture and treating the mixture with a metal oxide to form a bird deterrent composition.
