The invention relates to the use of natural antifungal agents in order to prevent the infection of pruning wounds, grafts and lesions in woody plants by phytopathogenic fungi, comprising chitosan oligosaccharide, hydroalcoholic extract of garlic and/or vanillin, alone or in combination.
