PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for obtaining a narrow-band image with the freedom of selecting narrow-band light wavelengths improved.
SOLUTION: LEDs 12a to 12j to emit narrow-band lights from different wavelength bands are arranged in a capsule unit 10. A system manager selects three narrow-band lights to irradiate the object of observation. The memory 36 of a processor unit 30 stores a table, where, with respect to the narrow-band light and its wavelength, a color filter having its highest spectral product of the spectral sensitivity of an imaging device 22 and the transmittance of a color filter is corresponded as the first color filter. Based on the table, a control part 35 determines whether the same color filter is stored as the first color filter for two or three narrow-band lights selected, and if it has determined so, it causes these two or three narrow-band lights to be each emitted at the timing of two or three times.
