Provided are an unmanned intelligent tracked high-clearance sprayer and a control method. A sprayer walking device comprises two tracked walking mechanisms driven by in-wheel motors. The tracked walking mechanisms at two sides are connected by a fixing rod. The top of each of the tracked walking mechanisms is provided with a sprayer raising/lowering mechanism. A spraying mechanism comprises an agricultural chemical mixing device and a spray boom device. Each tracked walking mechanism is provided with a trapezoidal support assembly therein. The agricultural chemical mixing device and a control device are arranged at an inner side of each of the trapezoidal support assemblies at both sides. The spray boom device is disposed at the sprayer raising/lowering mechanism and connected to the agricultural chemical mixing device, and is pulled with the sprayer raising/lowering mechanism to move up and down. The control device is respectively connected to the in-wheel motor, the sprayer raising/lowering mechanism, and the spraying mechanism. The wide-span spray boom of the invention is adjustable in a vertical direction, thereby meeting spraying requirements of various plants in different growth stages.
