PURPOSE: A novel fusarisetin compound isolated from Fusarium sp. fungus FN080326 is provided to suppress proliferation of cancer cells such as liver cancer cells, breast cancer cells, and myeloid leukemia cells.CONSTITUTION: A novel fusarisetin compound is denoted by chemical formula 1. A fusarisetin A compound is denoted by chemical formula 2 or 3. The fusarisetin compound is isolated from Fusarium sp. FN08026. A pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating cancer contains the fusarisetin compound or pharmaceutically acceptable salt threreof as an active ingredient. A method for preparing the fusarisetin compound comprises: a step of culturing Fusarium sp.
