PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drug or the like capable of preventing or treating a disorder or symptom after spinal cord injury. The present invention provides a preventive or therapeutic agent, a pharmaceutical composition, a medical device, a food or a drink for a disorder or symptom after spinal cord injury, which contains silicon fine particles. Oral administration of fine silicon particles or indwelling on the skin or mucous membranes can prevent or treat disorders or symptoms after spinal cord injury, and their preventive and/or therapeutic effects are excellent. Silicon fine particles are fine particles containing silicon capable of generating hydrogen in contact with water.
