PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow fiber membrane of high yield strength as well as high porosity, and of excellent capability of removing a protein of a low molecular weight, which can easily be fabricated into a module.SOLUTION: The hollow fiber membrane of an inner diameter of 150 to 250 &mum, a membrane thickness of 10 to 30 &mum, porosity of 75% or greater, and yield strength of 17 g or greater constituted of an aggregate of particles, is characterized in that the range of 60% of the membrane thickness in the direction from the inner surface to the outer surface thereof is constituted of a structure which is filled with particles of a mean diameter of 50 nm or greater.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】高い空隙率を有しながらも優れた降伏強度を有し、低分子タンパクの除去性に優れるだけでなく、モジュール化性に優れる中空糸膜を提供する。【解決手段】本発明は、内径が150~250μm、膜厚が10~30μm、空隙率が75%以上、かつ降伏強度が17g以上の中空糸膜であり、中空糸膜が粒子の集合体からなり、内表面から外表面に向かって膜厚の60%の範囲は平均径が50nm以上の粒子が充填した構造であることを特徴とする中空糸膜である。【選択図】 なし
