The present invention relates to a composition for controlling nematode containing a grammicin compound isolated from a Xylaria grammica strain as an active ingredient, and a use thereof. According to the present invention, the grammicin, a nematicide-controlling substance, is derived from a natural product, is harmless to human body without causing environmental pollution, and exhibits outstanding control activity against root-knot nematodes, thereby being useful for developing eco-friendly and natural nematicide control agents and producing high value-added organic agricultural products. In addition, the grammicin can be used directly or as a lead substance in the development of drugs for controlling nematodes in animal and human. If the technology is developed and transferred to domestic enterprises to produce biological control products, the grammicin can contribute to the production of eco-friendly agricultural products in Korea as well as contribute to the acquisition of foreign currencies in the world market after exported.본 발명은 자일라리아 그람미카 균주로부터 분리한 그람미신 화합물을 유효성분으로 함유하는 선충 방제용 조성물 및 이의 용도에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따른 선충 방제용 물질인 그람미신(grammicin)은 천연물로부터 유래하여 인체에 무해하고 환경오염을 유발하지 않으면서 뿌리혹선충에 대해 우수한 방제활성을 나타내므로, 환경 친화적인 천연물 살선충제의 개발 및 고부가가치의 유기농산물 생산에 유용하게 사용할 수 있다. 또한, 동물 및 인체의 선충을 방제하는 약품 개발에 직접적으로 또는 선도물질로서 이용될 수 있다. 이러한 기술이 개발되어 국내기업에 이양되고 생물적방제 제품이 생산된다면 국내 친환경농산물 생산에 이바지할 뿐만 아니라, 세계시장에 수출되어 외화 획득에 기여할 수 있다.
