Tissue surface tracking of tissue features is disclosed. A first surface imaging feature is tracked at a first wavelength based on the first and second time interval images. A second surface imaging feature is tracked at the second wavelength based on the first and second time interval images. A tracking metric is obtained based on the tracking step. The tracking steps are combined to provide a combined tracking metric.
