PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medication management system allowing a patient prescribed with medicine to easily know medicine information with voice, and useful for prevention of a forgotten dose and for detection of an adverse effect after administration.SOLUTION: A medication management system includes a pen type device and a computer. The pen type device includes: a medicine package on which dot code embedding administration information is printed in hardly visible and optically readable manner as coordinate position code information an optical reading part for optically reading the dot code a voice information reproduction part which reproduces voice information when the dot code is read by the optical reading part a voice recording part which records voice used as recorded data and a storage part for storing log and recorded data at time the dot code is read by the optical reading part. The computer reads the log and recorded data from the pen type device.
