An action recording apparatus (1), which records actions taken by a user, is provided with: a storage means (25)； a detection means (24) that detects biometric information and/or motion information of the user； an action determining means (processing means (27)) that determines the action type, which is the type of action performed by the user, on the basis of the information detected by the detection means (24) and determining conditions prescribed for each of the action types； a history recording means (processing means (27)) that stores the determined action type in the storage means (25)； a display means (operation apparatus (3)) that displays the history of the stored action types； an input means (operation apparatus (3)) that receives input operation； an action modification means (processing means (27)) that modifies, on the basis of the input operation, an action for which the action type has already been determined； and a condition modification means (processing means (27)) that modifies the determining conditions on the basis of information detected by the detection means (24) when the modified user's action was taken.
