The device has a controller triggering compressed gas sources on basis of base pressure level (15) and providing increased pressure levels (16, 26). A counting unit is activated with transition on the maximum pressure level from the controller and meters a predetermined time duration. The compressed gas sources are triggered by the controller for decreasing breathing gas pressure, where the controller triggers an outputting unit for outputting a perceptible signal (22).
