PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrocardiographic signal detecting system and an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus which enable an image diagnosis by smooth electrocardiographic synchronization by requiring no operators to set a threshold value.SOLUTION: The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus is equipped with features of detecting electrocardiographic synchronization signals from an electrocardiographic waveform of a patient 35 and of performing image processing from the detected electrocardiographic synchronization signals.
