The present invention relates to an injection device. The injection device comprises a body for holding a syringe having a needle extending from one end thereof and a cap that is removably attached to the body. The cap has a needle shield to cover said needle. The injection device further comprises a biasing member and a lock. The biasing member is configured to urge at least a part of the cap away from the body. The lock is moveable between a locked state, wherein the lock holds the cap and body together, and an unlocked state, wherein the cap and body are able to move apart.La présente invention concerne un dispositif dinjection. Le dispositif dinjection comprend un corps destiné à contenir une seringue comportant une aiguille sétendant dune extrémité de celui-ci et un capuchon qui est relié amovible au corps. Le capuchon comprend un élément de protection daiguille destiné à recouvrir ladite aiguille. Le dispositif dinjection comprend en outre un élément de sollicitation et un élément de verrouillage. Lélément de sollicitation est conçu pour solliciter au moins une partie du capuchon à distance du corps. Lélément de verrouillage est mobile entre un état verrouillé dans lequel ledit élément de verrouillage maintient le capuchon et le corps ensemble, et un état déverrouillé dans lequel le capuchon et le corps sont mobiles lun par rapport à lautre.
