PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external heat-insulation greening member capable of considerably reducing maintenance cost in the case of covering a roof of a building with a creeping plant.SOLUTION: The external heat-insulation greening member is a closed cell expansion molded article which has an expansion ratio of 10-90 and is provided with root region securing parts and creeping stem developing parts on the upper face of the greening member. Adjacent root region securing parts are connected together through a root region securing part connecting groove, and vegetation base materials are filled in the root region securing parts, the root region securing part connecting grooves and the creeping stem developing parts. The depth of the root region securing part is 30-200 mm, the depth of the vegetation base material of the creeping stem developing part is 0-40 mm, and an S/Sratio is 0.5-40, wherein Sis the area of total root region securing parts consisting of the root region securing part and the root region securing part connecting groove and Sis the area of total creeping stem developing parts consisting of the creeping stem developing part, vegetation base guide protrusions and peripheral parts 10. The creeping plant is grown on the upper face of the external heat-insulation greening member filled with the vegetation base material.【課題】建築物の屋上を匍匐型植物で被覆する際に,メンテナンスの大幅な軽減が可能となる外断熱緑化部材に関する。【解決手段】外断熱緑化部材上面側に根域確保部と,匍匐茎展開部を有しており,根域確保部同士が互いに根域確保部連結溝部により連結されており,根域確保部及び根域確保部連結溝部と,匍匐茎展開部に,植生基盤材を充填して用いる発泡倍率10乃至90倍の独立気泡発泡成型品であり,根域確保部の深さが30乃至200mm,匍匐茎展開部の植生基盤材の深さが0乃至40mmであり,根域確保部と根域確保部連結溝部からなる全根域確保部の面積Sbと、匍匐茎展開部と植生基盤ガイド突起および周辺部10からなる全匍匐茎展開部の面積Sopとの比Sop/Sbが0.5乃至40であり,植生基盤材を充填した外断熱緑化部材上面に匍匐型植物を生育せしめることを特徴とする。【選択図】図6
