PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a droplet manufacturing apparatus which can manufacture droplets continuously without freezing and re-solidification of raw material liquid at the tip part of a nozzle.SOLUTION: The droplet manufacturing apparatus 1 related to the present invention is an apparatus which manufactures droplets through dropping a raw material liquid L upon manufacturing solid particles by freezing or cooling the droplets of the raw material liquid L for solidification. The apparatus comprises a nozzle 3 through which the raw material liquid L flows and which drops naturally the raw material liquid L as the droplets from a tip part to the vertically lower side, and a heating part 4 which contacts to the nozzle 3 and heats the raw material liquid L flowing in the nozzle 3. The distance C between the tip part of the nozzle 3 and the lowest part of the heating part 4 is set as 0.5 times or more the larger value of the inner diameter A of the nozzle 3 or the major diameter B of the droplet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
