The present invention relates to an eco-friendly alternative feed additive for abalone using hijiki. More specifically, the present invention relates to a feed additive for abalone containing a high quality fermented hijiki extract as an active ingredient. The composition of the present invention supplements nutrients deficient in existing assorted feed for culturing abalone consisting of basic nutrients, by replacing each of spirulina fish meal and flour with a fermented hijiki extract. In addition, the composition can promote growth by exhibiting effects such as feed efficiency improvement, weight gain increment, activation of digestive enzyme secretion, immune function enhancement, propagation and productivity improvement, and antibacterial and antioxidant functions. By containing the fermented hijiki extract, the composition promotes growth of abalone, and increases resistance to diseases or changes in water quality, thereby promoting growth of abalone.
