PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair which adjusts its posture without changing wheels in contact with the ground even when topography changes.SOLUTION: A wheelchair includes: a seat having a seat surface supporting a users body two rails which extend to the ground from left and right side surfaces of the seat respectively and make positions of the seat where load is applied movable in a longitudinal direction two driving wheels which are in contact with the ground by receiving load of the respective rails and are rotatably provided and posture adjustment means which drives one of the two rails or the other one in the way that a lower end of one of the rails goes farther from the seat than a lower end of the other rail in accordance with a force given to a prescribed part, and adjusts a posture of the seat surface with respect to the ground.
