PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicine registration apparatus and a program that allows input of whether or not to register a medicine that has been read.SOLUTION: A medicine registration apparatus includes first input means, reading means, second input means, registration means, and output means. The first input means receives input of identification information capable of identifying a medicine. The reading means reads information on a medicine having identification information from a storage for storing information on medicines containing billing possibility information. The second input means receives input indicating whether to register the medicine as a medicine to be billed, regardless of the classification of billing possibility information. If input indicating that the medicine should be registered as a medicine to be billed, the registration means registers information on the medicine. The output means provides output in a manner that the classification of billing possibility information to which the information on the medicine corresponds can be identified.
