PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide in situ cartilage defect therapy which includes implantable devices combined with dry materials that are activated by the presence of aqueous physiological fluids.SOLUTION: An implant includes a porous substrate having a first hydrogel precursor including collagen applied to the porous substrate, and a film containing a second hydrogel precursor applied to the porous substrate.
