According to the present invention, the mutant haptoglobin consists of an amino acid sequence in which 143rd amino acid among amino acid sequences of the sequence number 1 is substituted for amino acid with the exception of Arg. The angiogenesis promoting activity is excellent in comparison with a wild type haptoglobin the capillary-like tube formation ability is excellent and the migration of a cell is promoted.
