The prosthesis has an opening (la) for placement around the oesophagus in case of a hiatus hernia. The structure (1) is made from a flexible biocompatible 100 %-synthetic material which can adapt to the anatomical form of the region for treatment, one side of said structure being impregnated with a non-adherent film (2). The opening (la) is defined by a region (3) in contact with the oesophagus with a section forming a bead (3) such as not to engender trauma of the oesophagus, said opening (la) having means for adjustment of the diameter thereof to match the oesophagus.La prothèse présente un orifice (la) à placer autour de lœsophage pour hernie hiatale. La structure (1) est réalisée dans un matériau souple et biocompatible 100 % synthétique apte à sadapter à la forme anatomique de la zone à traiter, lune des faces de ladite structure étant imprégnée dun film (2) en matière non adhérente, lorifice (la) étant délimité par une zone (3) en contact avec ledit œsophage et conformée en section pour constituer un bourrelet (3) afin de ne pas créer de traumatisme vis-à-vis de lœsophage, ledit orifice (la) présentant des agencements pour permettre de régler son diamètre en fonction de lœsophage.
