PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking auxiliary apparatus which has lower risk of falling down of a user.SOLUTION: A walking auxiliary apparatus of the invention comprises: a frame body 10 driving wheels 12 disposed on the frame body 10 a handle part 16 to which a user applies body weight of the user a load detection sensor 15 disposed between the frame body 10 and the handle part 16, and detecting a load applied to the handle part 16 and a load direction a footing position detection sensor 17 disposed on the frame body 10 and detecting an object in the vicinity of a floor near the frame body 10 and a controller 11 disposed on the frame body 10 and controlling the driving wheels 12 according to load information input from the load detection sensor 15.
