Disclosed is an anti-allergy composition using a Glycosmis pentaphylla extract. The anti-allergy composition shows inhibitory activities on degranulation when a mast cell line rat basophilic leukemia (RBL)-2H3 which is activated by immunoglobulin E (IgE) and antigen (DNP-BSA) is treated with the anti-allergy composition. In addition, the anti-allergy composition also inhibits production of cytokines such as tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α, interleukin (IL)-4, and IL-10.본 발명은 IgE 및 항원(DNP-BSA)으로 활성화된 비만세포주 RBL-2H3(rat basophilic leukemia)에 처리될 때 탈과립의 억제 활성을 가지고 TNF-α, IL-4, IL-10 등의 사이토카인 생성을 억제 활성을 가지는 글리코스미스 펜타필라 추출물을 이용한 항알러지용 조성물을 개시한다.
