PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct seeder capable of performing dense seeding, while avoiding a cost increase due to a significant design change such as drastically reducing horizontal width of hoppers for storing seed rice or delivery parts.SOLUTION: The direct seeder comprises: a forward sowing device 5A that includes a hopper 23 for storing the seed rice, and a plurality of delivery parts 20 for delivering the seed rice to supply the paddy field with the seed rice, and that supplies the seed rice to a plurality of parts in the horizontal direction of the paddy field； and a backward sowing device 5B that includes, at a backside of the forward sowing device 5A, hoppers 46 and 47 for storing the seed rice, and a plurality of delivery parts 48 for delivering the seed rice to supply the paddy field with the seed rice, and that supplies the seed rice to the paddy field at different parts in the horizontal direction from the supply parts of the seed rice by the forward sowing device.【課題】種籾を貯留するホッパーや繰り出し部の左右方向幅を大幅に削減するような、大きな設計変更によるコスト増を避けながら、密播き可能な直播機を提供する。【解決手段】種籾を貯留するホッパー２３と、種籾を繰り出して田面に供給する複数の繰り出し部２０とを備えて、田面の左右方向での複数箇所に種籾を供給する前播種装置５Ａと、前播種装置５Ａの後方側で、種籾を貯留するホッパー４６，４７と、種籾を繰り出して田面に供給する複数の繰り出し部４８とを備えて、かつ前播種装置５Ａによる種籾の供給箇所とは左右方向で異なる箇所の田面に種籾を供給する後播種装置５Ｂとを備えた。【選択図】図２
