This invention relates to powder compositions for veterinary vaccination being especially useful against, but not limited to, avian viral infections, and to a method for producing them. These compositions comprise an effective amount of a veterinary vaccine and a supporting amount of one or more carriers for said veterinary vaccine, said powder being in the form of particles with an average particle size from 2 to 30 µm, and a narrow polydispersity which is retained after nebulization. The compositions are useful for poultry vaccination, especially against Newcastle disease and bird flu.
