PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grafting device and a method of grafting capable of making it more unlikely for a rootstock and a scion to be displaced when tapes are bonded compared with a conventional configuration.SOLUTION: Bonding machines 41 are disposed on both sides of a rootstock 2 and a scion 3 placing them in-between with respect to the longitudinal direction of tapes and bond the tapes 6 and 7 together with bonding parts 42a protruding inward in the tape facing direction.
