The present invention relates to antibodies and antigen-binding fragments thereof that strongly neutralize ZIKV infection. The present invention also relates to antigenic sites to which antibodies and antigen-binding fragments bind, and encoding nucleic acids, and immortalized B cells that produce such antibodies and antibody fragments. The invention further relates to screening methods and the use of the antibodies and antibody fragments of the invention in the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of ZIKV infection.
