PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for preventing an intraocular lens from popping out of an insertion instrument with too much vigor, preventing a plunger from being vigorously pushed out of an insertion tube part after discharging the intraocular lens, and performing insertion operations of the intraocular lens more smoothly.SOLUTION: In an intraocular lens insertion instrument and an auxiliary device for assisting the insertion instrument in doing an inserting work, an insertion tube part of an instrument body is inserted into an eyeball through an incision formed in an eyeball tissue, a plunger is pushed in the instrument body, and a deformable intraocular lens is discharged into the eyeball from a tip of the inserted insertion tube part.
