A lip cosmetic composition which contains the following components (a) and (b): (a) a wax that contains at least (a1) a hydrocarbon wax having a penetration at 25°C of 5-20 and (a2) a hydrocarbon wax having a penetration at 25°C of more than 20 but 110 or less, said wax being contained in an amount of 1-9% by mass in the total cosmetic composition and (b) an oil agent that is in a liquid state or in a paste state at 25°C. The mass ratio of the component (a1) to the component (a2), namely, (a1)/(a2) is from 1/17 to 80/1 the mass ratio of the total of the component (a1) and the component (a2) to the component (b), namely, ((a1) + (a2))/(b) is from 0.02 to 0.12 the component (b) has a viscosity at 25°C of 500-10,000 mPa·s and the cosmetic composition has a penetration hardness at 30°C with a 10 mmf jig of 0.5-9 N.本發明係一種口唇化妝料,其含有以下之成分(a)及(b):(a)至少包含(a1)25℃下之針入度為5~20之烴系蠟、(a2)25℃下之針入度超過20且為110以下之烴系蠟的蠟,且該成分(a)於全部化妝料中為1~9質量%;(b)於25℃下為液狀或糊狀之油劑;且成分(a1)與成分(a2)之質量比例(a1)/(a2)=1/17~80/1,成分(a1)及成分(a2)之總和與成分(b)的質量比例((a1)+(a2))/(b)=0.02~0.12,成分(b)於25℃下之黏度為500~10000 mPa.s,30℃下之化妝料利用10 mmΦ治具獲得之針入硬度為0.5~9 N。
