Synthesis and Characterization of various SchifPs bases of Amisulpride using various aldehydes and ketones has been carried out. Seven compounds have been isolated. The compounds EA1, EA2, EA3, EA4, EA5, EH6 and EK7 prepared by using Amisulpride with Ortho Chlorobenzaldehyde, Vanillin, Meta Chlorobenzaldehyde, Para Dimethylamino benzaldehyde, Para Nitro benzaldehyde, Furfuraldehyde and Acetophenone respectively. The characterization to the synthesised compounds have been made on the basis of FTIR, H NMR, 13C NMR and Mass spectroscopy. All seven compounds conform the structural characterization. The Amisulpride and synthesised compounds have been screened for their biological activities (Anti-arrhythmic, Local Anesthesia, Iron Deficiency Anemia) and the data shows good and moderate activity for synthesized compounds when compareto Amisulpride.
