A portable brainwave detection and music playback system includes a brainwave cap, a brainwave signal capturing device and a music control and playback device. The brainwave signal capturing device includes a control box, a control switch and a signal processing circuit board. The signal processing circuit board and the control switch are electrically connected to each of the dry electrodes. The music control and playback device is arranged with a music control module and a built-in Bluetooth module, and installed therein with a brainwave signal processing program and a music judgment algorithm program.
