PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a link type lifting mechanism which improves workability and maintenance by enabling an ascending operation of a lifting portion without driving means and can prevent pinching by driving means during descending of the lifting portion.SOLUTION: In a link type lifting mechanism (1) has an X-shaped link mechanism (30) consisting of a first link (31) and a second link (32) connected together between a stem (10) and a lifting portion (20), there are provided a third link (40) and a linear motion actuator (50) for driving the third link (40) between the stem (10) and the lifting portion (20).
