PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hedge trimmer with which an operator can easily perform trimming work while changing a direction of a cutting blade.SOLUTION: In a hedge trimmer 10, a body 12 is made up of a body front portion 121 in front (protruding side of a cutting blade 11), a body rear portion 122, and a support section 123 which connects both portions on a lower side. One end and the other end of a main handle 13 are respectively connected to an upper portion on a rear end side of the body front portion 121 and an upper portion on a front end side of the body rear portion 122. The main handle 13 is formed in a straight shape parallel with a longitudinal direction of the cutting blade 11.
