Each first family and each second family comprises 3 femoral prostheses which are distributed over at least two different sizes, ranging from 1 to at least 6, which are different, with i) of the rods of two different lengths and ii) of the heads defining at least three necks of different lengths. Whatever t, the difference between the offset (b) of a prosthesis (1.1 - 1.9) of size t of the first series and the offset (b) of a prosthesis (2.1 - 2.9) of size t of the second series is substantially equal to 8,6 mm.
