PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend a period for harvesting bamboo shoots and enable to ensure the period for harvesting them without frequently visiting a bamboo thicket. And to enable to simply judge sizes of bamboo shoots suitable for harvesting. SOLUTION: Bamboo shoots are grown in a shaded state by covering a bamboo thicket E in which bamboo shoots are under the ground with a shading sheet 2 which is a black color-based plastic sheet. The shading sheet is spun between parent bamboos 1 in a height for anticipating the bamboo shoots from the ground surface E in a harvesting period. When a bamboo shoot grows up and its top contacts to the shading sheet 2 and pushes it up, the bamboo shoot 31 is harvested.
