PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article including an elastic film stretchable area, the stretching ratio of which changes according to sites, and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: The absorbent article includes stretchable areas 80 stretched at least in the width direction, formed at a waistline area T including waist parts 23 of an outer wrapper body 20 of a front piece F and an outer wrapper body 20 of a back piece B.
