PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical oxygen concentrator which reduces an economical burden on a patient and which has excellent safety by reducing power consumption.SOLUTION: The medical oxygen concentrator is provided with: adsorption cylinders 1a and 1b in which an adsorbent capable of adsorbing nitrogen contained in material air selectively is housed adsorption cylinder switch valves 2a, 2b, 2c and 2d for switching a channel connected to the adsorption cylinders 1a and 1b a boosting pump 3 for taking out oxygen-concentrated gas whose oxygen concentration is raised by adsorption of nitrogen by the adsorbent from the adsorption cylinders 1a and 1b a reservation tank 4 for reserving the oxygen-concentrated gas taken out from the adsorption cylinders 1a and 1b a flow rate setting means 5 for setting the flow rate of the oxygen-concentrated gas to be used a flow rate control means 6 for controlling the flow rate of the oxygen-concentrated gas to be taken out from the reservation tank 4 according to the flow rate set by the flow rate setting means 5 and a vacuum pump 7 which reduces the pressure of the adsorption cylinders 1a and 1b to a vacuum region.COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT【課題】消費電力が低く、患者の経済的負担を軽減することのできる安全性に優れた医療用酸素濃縮装置を提供する。【解決手段】医療用酸素濃縮装置を、原料空気に含まれる窒素を選択的に吸着しうる吸着剤が収容された吸着筒1a,1bと、吸着筒1a,1bに接続される流路を切り替えるための吸着筒切替弁2a,2b,2c,2dと、吸着剤に窒素が吸着されて酸素濃度が高められた酸素濃縮ガスを吸着筒1a,1bから取り出すための昇圧ポンプ3と、吸着筒1a,1bから取り出された酸素濃縮ガスを貯留するための貯留タンク4と、使用する酸素濃縮ガスの流量を設定するための流量設定手段5と、流量設定手段5に設定された流量に応じて貯留タンク4から取り出す酸素濃縮ガスの流量を制御する流量制御手段6と、吸着筒1a,1bの圧力を真空領域にまで低下させる真空ポンプ7とを備えたものとした。【選択図】図1
