PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized and light-weight activity amount measuring instrument being installable on a mouse and a rat, attachable to a wide range of a human body, and capable of expanding functions of measurement and calculation.SOLUTION: An activity amount measuring instrument 1 comprises a storage case, and an electrical component 20 including: an acceleration sensor 25 for measuring an acceleration and outputting an acceleration signal activity amount data calculation means for calculating an amount of activity on the basis of the acceleration signal communication means and a battery. The activity amount data calculation means is configured to output at least any one of the acceleration signal and activity amount data calculated from the acceleration signal.
