The present invention discloses a dental implant providing rotary and non-rotary connection of an abutment thereon. The implant has at its upper end a hole for receiving said abutment having a first upper conical housing, followed by a sector having a polygonal cross-section and finally by a second lower conical housing. Therefore, the first housing provides a rotary connection with an abutment the lower end of which is conical-shaped, corresponding to the first housing. In turn, the second housing provides a non-rotary connection with an abutment the lower end of which has a sector having a polygonal cross-section, corresponding to the sector having a polygonal cross-section of the dental implant, followed by a conical-shaped lower end corresponding to the second housing. Furthermore, each of the first housing and the second housing has a step, such that the insertion of a lower end of a corresponding abutment is allowed and the involuntary extraction thereof is prevented once inserted.
