The present invention relates to a method for stably dispersing chia seeds, a composition including chia seeds dispersed thereby, and functional beverage including the same. Existing chia seed-containing products are limited to powder products which can be drunk by mixing chia seed powder in water or milk as chia seeds become large in volume and have an increased viscosity, thereby having the seeds combined when the seeds are mixed in water and swollen. Accordingly, the present invention provides a method for manufacturing ready-to-drink (RTD) beverage, which is conveniently and easily drunk by having chia seeds evenly dispersed through a convenient process.
