PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article by which excreted liquid is prevented from excessively spreading along a face direction of front face sheet, gaps are hardly generated with the body in wearing condition, and fitness is improved.SOLUTION: An absorbent body 12 has a raised part 20 raised toward the body side of a wearer. A continuous compressed part 22 extending in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article 10 is formed along the right and left peripheral parts in the raised part 20. A discontinuous compressed part group 27 comprising an aggregate in which a plurality of linear compressed parts 26 extending in the width direction of the article 10 are arranged spaced apart from each other in a fore and aft longitudinal peripheral part in the raised part 20.
