PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that, when an intraocular lens is pushed out by a push member, a tip end of a support part sometimes is caught by an edge of an optical part or the like and does not smoothly put on a surface of an optical part.SOLUTION: An intraocular lens insertion instrument 1 includes an optical part 8 and a pair of support part 9a and 9b extending therefrom and inserts an intraocular lens 7 into an eye. The intraocular lens insertion instrument includes: an insertion instrument body 2 including a lens installation part 6 on which the intraocular lens 7 is installed; a holding part 14 that holds a tip end of the front support part 9a disposed in front of the lens installation part 6, out of the pair of support parts 9a and 9b; and guide mechanisms (11c and 14a) that, when the intraocular lens 7 is pushed out by the push member 5 so as to downward deform the optical part 8 relative to the front support part 9a held by the holding part 14, guide the optical part 8 so as to pass through under the holding part 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3【課題】押出部材で眼内レンズを押し出すときに、支持部の先端部が光学部の縁に引っ掛かるなどして、支持部の先端部が光学部の面上にスムーズに乗らないことがあった。【解決手段】光学部8とそこから延在する一対の支持部9a,9bとを有する眼内レンズ7を眼内に挿入する眼内レンズ挿入器具1であって、眼内レンズ7が設置されるレンズ設置部6が設けられた挿入器具本体2と、一対の支持部9a,9bのうちレンズ設置部6の前方に配置される前方支持部9aの先端部を保持する保持部14と、この保持部14に保持された前方支持部9aに対して光学部8を相対的に下方に変位させるべく、押出部材5によって眼内レンズ7を押し出す際に、保持部14の下を通過するように光学部8をガイドするガイド機構(11c、14a)と、を備える。【選択図】図3
